Youth Strike 4 Climate
Tomorrow, Friday 15th February, young people up and down the country will be taking part in the first Youth Strike 4 Climate. Chiltern Green Party fully support this action. We appreciate that having only 12 years left to at least halve our CO2 emissions, as per the UN advice from the IPCC is pretty dire and exceptional circumstances that fully justifies young people taking strike action. Indeed, some sources suggest that we need to push for much more rapid emissions reductions and aim for zero carbon as soon as possible. You can find out more about the strike action here, including ways to give support: https://ukscn.org/ys4c-2 If you know any young people taking part do please get in touch
