Local Meetup - Sun 10th Nov - Why do councillors matter?

Green Party meetup in Wycombe Museum between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday 10th November. This will be a relatively informal meetup to give an opportunity for local Party members to find out more about what being a Green Party councillor involves, but all are welcome to come and socialise.

Newly elected Green Party MEP for the South East Alexandra Phillips plans strong action on climate change and against Brexit and austerity. Nationally, the European elections saw the Green Party achievie the best election return for 30 years, more than doubling the number of national MEPs to 7.

Thank you to everyone who came out to campaign with us, and to sign our Climate Emergency petition, at our stall in Chesham Market on Saturday. We collected nearly 200 signatures, which is fantastic for our first event! It was heartening to see such a positive response from the public that even saw people queuing to sign the petition. The volunteers who came along said they had a really enjoyable time - and all are welcome to the next event.

Declare a Climate Emergency - The Jam Academy

15 March 2019

Students and staff at The Jam Academy today decided to take action for Climate Change collectively. Instead of students striking from school and joining the marches across the country. Science lessons this morning made way for campaign head quarters to be set up and letters be written to local council representatives.
